Zig Zag refers to any combination of step touches performed to the diagonal moving forwards or backwards. It is reminiscent of the zig zag stitch on a sewing machine.
1 - R foot steps diagonal back R 2 - L foot touches next to R 3 - L foot steps diagonal back L 4 - R foot touches next to L
